In 1987, Benoît Ramognino didn’t have yet his little round hat on his head, when he exhibited at the Puces the inflatable furniture created by Quasar Khan, a famous designer in the 1960s-1970s. Thirty years later, he and Marc Mineray, his stand neighbor, devoted a monography to this icon of pop culture (published by Albin Michel). Benoit finds unique pieces and small series signed by Verner Panton, Joe Colombo, Luigo Colani. But not only: he has also discovered and bought the Futuro House, an incredible dwelling in the shape of a flying saucer created in 1968 by the Finnish architect Matti Suuronen. The flying saucer has now landed for good in the center of Marché Dauphine. Benoit is also a registered expert specializing in Pop culture and 20th century design.
