Stand 151 & 152

William Vonthron is as enthusiastic and dynamic as when he was in his twenties. He was already an antic dealer at the Flea Market. Over time, he specialized in light fixtures from the 1850s to the 1970s, to such a degree that he became a registered member and the chairman of “the Compagnie des Experts Français en Antiquités”.

He showcases outstanding pieces (chandeliers, sconces, ceiling lights…) out of the ordinary because of their size, quality of crystals, designer’s or editor’s name. Sometimes both, like this incredible chandelier designed by Georges Jouve and manufactured by Asselbur in the early 1950s. In the store, an elongated ceiling light by Venini stands alongside a Baguès chandelier with pendants and exclusive contemporary creations in selenite and bronze by Christine and Jacques Rivière.
