With her degree in interior design from Ecole Camondo, and as a painter, the beautiful Maryam Ahi could have chosen to promote her own creations. Instead, she decided to be an advocate of Iranian contemporary art, as a tribute to her personal culture. The painters Siamak Azmi, Asal Fallah, Ahmad Mirzazadeh, and Hamed Sadrahami, as well as the scultor Sadegh Adham, all of them, among others, embody the cultural “movida” that took hold of Teheran. And deserve to be discovered wholeheartedly.
